Kakobuy QC photos.
Check the details before shipping.

A Kakobuy QC checklist for matching the item, checking visible details and asking a precise question when the photos are not enough.

What is QC, and why is it useful?

QC means quality control. In this buying process, warehouse photos give you a chance to look at the item before international shipment. They can help you spot visible discrepancies; they cannot settle every question about materials, durability or performance.

Kakobuy’s inspection help page describes an appearance check and limits for sealed goods and electronics. Treat an image as evidence of what can actually be seen. A powered-off device in a photo is not evidence that it works.

White sneakers: compare both sides

User-supplied Kakobuy QC examples, added 28 September 2026. These illustrate photo review and are not a quality verdict or an inspection of your own order. Follow your own listing, measurements and warehouse record.

Review photos in a useful order

Begin with identity, then look for problems. That order prevents you from spending time on stitching while missing the fact that the warehouse received a different model.

  1. Item and quantity. Does the overall shape match the listing? Are all pieces visible?
  2. Variant. Compare the colour, size label and any model reference with your order.
  3. Measurements. If fit depends on a measurement, ask for a clearly positioned ruler or tape. Camera perspective can mislead.
  4. Visible condition. Look at seams, soles, closures and exposed surfaces for damage or obvious inconsistency.
  5. Missing evidence. Name what the photos do not show and decide whether you need another image.

For shoes, a size label and insole measurement answer different questions. For clothing, a chest or length measurement is more useful when you know the same measurement from something you already wear.

QC, GL and RL: describe the issue as well as the shorthand

QC
Quality control; commonly used for the warehouse photos and their review.
GL
“Green light” in buyer discussions: the reviewer would proceed based on what they can see.
RL
“Red light” in buyer discussions: the reviewer sees a reason to pause or request a change.

GL and RL are community opinions, not official order statuses or guarantees. They are not used as instructions in the official Kakobuy tutorial reviewed for this guide. When contacting support, explain the concrete issue and the action you want instead of sending only an abbreviation.

If something does not match, pause before shipping

Send a message from the relevant order. Include the requested option, the detail that differs, and the photo that shows it. Ask what evidence, deadline and seller conditions apply to a return or exchange.

If the photos are simply inconclusive, request a specific view rather than guessing. Once an item is sent internationally, resolving a mismatch can involve a much longer return journey.

A useful message: “I ordered size M. The tag in photo 2 appears to say L. Please confirm the size before I submit the parcel.”
