Where do I place my order?
Use the product’s source link in Kakobuy. Select the right option and pay through your account. This site provides discovery links and guidance; it does not accept product payments.
What if a product link does not import?
Check that you copied the complete product URL rather than an image URL or a shop homepage. The official tutorial shows a manual purchase form for items that need more details. Ask the agent if the source or product is supported before paying.
Which size should I select?
Use the listing’s measurements and compare them with an item that fits you. A size name alone may not be consistent across sellers. If the chart or measuring method is unclear, resolve it before submitting the order.
Does the displayed price include international delivery?
Do not assume it does. The purchasing stage and international parcel stage are separate in the official tutorial. Check product, domestic delivery and later parcel charges in the relevant quote.
Can QC confirm authenticity or whether electronics work?
Do not treat photographs as that guarantee. The official inspection explanation sets limits on what is checked, including electronic goods and sealed packaging. Ask the agent whether a specific check is available for your item.
Can I ask for another QC photo?
Send a precise request through the relevant order or warehouse support entry. State the view or measurement you need, and confirm whether there is a charge before ordering an extra service.
Can I return an item after it reaches the warehouse?
Ask the agent about the seller’s conditions and the applicable deadline while the item is still there. Eligibility, charges and the next action depend on the actual order; a listing in a spreadsheet is not a return promise.
Which exchange rate should I use for a budget?
Use the rate quoted for your payment, with any separate payment charge. A general currency converter can differ from the amount you will actually be charged.
Why is my parcel quote different from another buyer’s?
Weight, dimensions, destination, route, packaging and the date of the quote can differ. Compare an estimate for your own parcel and check which charges are included.
Who can check a delayed parcel?
Use the official support entry for that parcel in your account. Include its number and latest tracking event privately. Public comments on a guide cannot give support staff access to your order.
What is 1688, and can I buy just one item?
1688 is a Chinese domestic wholesale marketplace. Each seller sets a minimum quantity, and unit prices can change with quantity. Check the exact variant, minimum order and China delivery charge before asking Kakobuy to purchase. Official 1688 guidance.
How should I assess a seller on 1688?
Start with Chengxintong (TrustPass) sellers and compare recent product feedback, specifications, quantity tiers and buyer services. Check each seller’s quality and return commitments, then agree the return window and who pays return delivery before purchasing.
How are bulk 1688 orders checked?
Kakobuy’s 1688 guidance says it counts boxes and does not guarantee the number of pieces inside each box. Ask what piece-count or detailed inspection is available for your order before relying on a bulk quantity. Read the scope.
Does Kakobuy charge a purchasing service fee?
The help page lists no basic purchasing service fee. Products, domestic delivery, international shipping, payment-related charges and selected extras still need to be considered. Official fee explanation.
Does no service fee mean no exchange-rate margin?
No. The currency conversion applied to a payment can include a margin even when the basic purchasing fee is zero. See our dated exchange-rate example and check the rate in your account before paying.
How does the 24-hour purchasing target work?
The service target supplied for this site is purchasing within 24 hours once payment and order details are complete. Stock, seller responses and working hours can affect it. When does the carrier collect a submitted parcel?
Kakobuy distinguishes warehouse dispatch from carrier pickup. Its guidance states dispatch within 24 hours after submission and roughly two working days for pickup, with weekend and holiday delays possible. Route transit begins later in the journey. Official dispatch guidance.
What does free QC include?
The official help describes basic inspection of visible details such as style, colour and size. Sealed packaging and electronic goods have limitations. Ask for a specific photo or measurement when needed; optional services may cost extra. Inspection scope.
How long can I leave items in the warehouse?
Kakobuy offers free storage. Check the expiry date shown for each item in your warehouse account and arrange shipment or an extension before it runs out. Do not assume every order shares the same start date. Storage guidance.
Can I combine items from different sellers?
Kakobuy lists domestic consolidation among its included services. Ask which of your warehouse items can travel together on the intended route; restrictions, dimensions and packing choices can change eligibility and the final quote. Included services.
Will virtual try-on tell me my exact size?
It can help you imagine styling and combinations. It is not a measurement of fabric, fit or the item in your warehouse. Use the seller’s size chart and your own measurements before ordering.
What makes a shipping comparison fair?
Match destination, billable weight, dimensions, item restrictions and tax treatment as closely as possible. A ranking in a supplied rate table describes that table, not every available carrier or service. Read our selected quotes and comparison limits.

At the purchase stage, the product and domestic delivery amounts belong to the order. The international route is chosen after the warehouse stage, when you can see what is ready to send. Keep these two stages separate in your budget.
There may also be payment, service or optional handling charges. Check each description on the current account screen. Do not count a coupon until you know it applies to your order and is still valid.

Our take: include the conversion in your decision
Kakobuy’s exchange margin is a meaningful part of what you pay. It is higher than several agents in this snapshot and lower than others. Free basic purchasing and QC can be useful, but “no service fee” does not mean conversion is free.
A competitive shipping quote may improve the overall value. Compare the same basket, payment method and parcel before deciding; a freight ranking alone cannot establish the cheapest total. The reference rate is a benchmark, not an offer to exchange money.

Enter the amounts from the quotes you are considering. Use one destination currency consistently. Convert a CNY shipping quote to your selected currency before entering it below. Include any known taxes or handling fees in “other charges”; leaving them out makes the estimate incomplete.
What is 1688? Four checks before you buy
1688 is a leading Chinese business-to-business platform for domestic trade, connecting millions of buyers and suppliers. Its extensive selection, competitive wholesale prices and online transaction tools support both individual sourcing and business purchasing, including direct factory listings. A wholesale headline price may require several pieces or a particular variant; it is not automatically the price of one item delivered overseas.
- Check the minimum order and buyer services. Read the price tiers and confirm quantity, size, colour, China delivery and the services the seller offers buyers.
- Prioritise Chengxintong (TrustPass) sellers. Review their trading history and product feedback, and check the quality commitments, buyer protection and return services they offer. Membership alone does not determine the terms of your order.
- Compare the same specification. Check materials, measurements, included pieces and sample availability before choosing the lowest number.
- Agree returns before paying. Clarify deadlines, acceptable reasons and who pays return delivery. Keep that agreement attached to the order.
Kakobuy’s 1688 guidance also limits bulk checks: counting boxes does not guarantee the piece count inside them. Ask in advance about the inspection needed for a multi-piece purchase.

The 24-hour purchasing target: how timing works
Our stated service target is to complete purchasing within 24 hours once an order is paid and ready to process. Stock issues, seller responses, weekends, working hours or missing order details can affect that target.
Kakobuy’s public introduction describes usual order review within 3–5 working hours after payment. The Priority Purchase page describes processing within 4 hours during purchasers’ working hours, once required information is confirmed. Review and processing are different from a guarantee that a seller has accepted or dispatched an order.

Open your Kakobuy account and go to the affected order or parcel. The official tutorial shows an order message function. That is the useful place for a size correction, a return question or a delivery query because it identifies the transaction.
Include the item or parcel reference, what you expected, what happened and the action you are requesting. Attach a relevant screenshot privately if it clarifies the issue. Never publish your full delivery address, login details or payment information.
